Eleven Hurt in School Bus Accident

WOOLWICH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- Eleven people were injured and two of them had to be airlifted to a Camden hospital Monday after a school bus and a car collided.

The accident occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Oldmans Creek Road and Rainey Road, the Gloucester County Times of Woodbury reported on its Web site.

None of the injuries was considered life-threatening, authorities said. One of the injured was believed to be a 4-year-old girl who was riding in the car.

Two of the students on the bus were airlifted to Camden's Cooper University Hospital and another was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa.

The bus was taking students home from the Salem County Vocational and Technical School.
