Bus Company Cited After Accident Sends 15 Students To Hospital
March 8, 2007

A Clearfield County bus company is facing charges after a school bus accident sent 15 students to the hospital last Wednesday.

The Fullington Auto Bus Company is facing $300 in fines and safety violations for an accident that happened in Rayne Township, Indiana County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, one bus rear-ended another while students were being dropped off.

The Fullington Auto Bus Company is being cited because the brake lining on one of the buses was found to be worn beyond the safety indicator.

Fullington's president said the bus had been scheduled for inspection this week as part of an in-depth preventative maintenance program.

The bus driver, who was cited for the accident, has also been terminated.
