SCHOOL BUS CRASH REPORTS 2007

School Bus Crash Injures Three
March 22, 2007

Twice in two days, a Dayton school bus is involved in a traffic accident that injures children on board.

Around three p.m. Thursday, bus No. 33 carrying 19 students from City Day Charter School collided with a blue sedan at the intersection of Ludlow and Sixth Streets.

The crash injured three students and trapped the driver of the sedan inside her car. Rescue workers had to saw off the driver's side door to free the woman.

The students were taken by ambulance to Children's Medical Center with minor injuries.

According to police, the driver of the blue car will be cited for running a red light and causing the accident.
