REPORTS 2007
One Hurt in S.J. Crash Involving
Campbell School Bus
February 6, 2007
A school bus crashed with two other
vehicles on San Tomas Expressway near Payne Avenue this morning,
sending at least one person to the hospital.
It's unclear if the person, who was
hospitalized after a complaint of minor pain, was on the Campbell
school bus or traveling in one of the sports-utility vehicles it
crashed with, California Highway Patrol dispatchers said.
The 8 a.m. accident closed some lanes
of southbound San Tomas in West San Jose for about an hour,
according to dispatch.
The crash involving the bus, a black
Ford Explorer and a Toyota sport-utility vehicle left the bus
sideways in a lane, according to dispatch.
It's unclear how the accident
occurred.
