Five Children Treated and Released
Following School Bus Accident
March 27, 2007
Five children were sent to the hospital
after their school bus was involved in an accident. State Troopers
responded to the accident on Route 415 in Campbell.
According to police, the bus was at the
front of a three-vehicle pileup after stopping to drop off students.
They said an A&E Transportation bus failed to stop and hit a Toyota,
driving it into the back of the school bus.
Five of the 26 students on the bus were
taken to Corning Hospital where they were treated and released.
Two counselors from Campbell-Savona
Elementary School were at the scene to calm down the students.
