School Bus Accident in Windham Sends
Five to Hospital

WINDHAM — A bus school struck a
guardrails and several trees Tuesday, sending four pre-schoolers, along
with the bus driver, to Windham Memorial Hospital.
The children, between the ages of four
and five, were transported for observation with no visible injuries,
police said. They have since been released to their parents, according
to state police spokesman William Tate.
The driver remains in the hospital,
police said.
The accident occurred near 70 Bricktop
Road (Route 14), near the intersection of Lovers Lane in Windham.
