The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office

snow falling at a rate up to five inches per hour.
Traffic should be limited to
emergency vehicles or absolutely necessary travel, Sheriff David

Lake-effect snow is severely
affecting Cato, Fair Haven, Ira, Sterling and Victory.
A Red Creek Central School District
bus tipped over around 2:40 p.m. on Crane Road in Sterling. Only
minor injuries resulted, the New York State Police in Wolcott
reported.
The state police reported patrol
