NEW TAZEWELL, Tenn. (AP) - Two children and three adults were injured this morning when a school bus and a car collided in New Tazewell.

The most seriously injured was the driver of the car, 35-year-old Jennifer Snodgrass, who was transported to UT Medical Center in Knoxville and listed in critical condition.

Authorities said she hit the bus, which was leaving Tazewell Primary School for a field trip to a park.

Administrators said about 25 elementary aged children were on board.

Two adults and two children were taken from the bus and treated at Claiborne County Hospital for minor injuries.

The children are in a summer program held in all Claiborne County Schools.
