Five Hurt in School Bus Wreck in
New Tazewell

NEW TAZEWELL, Tenn. (AP) - Two
children and three adults were injured this morning when a school
bus and a car collided in New Tazewell.
The most seriously injured was the
driver of the car, 35-year-old Jennifer Snodgrass, who was
transported to UT Medical Center in Knoxville and listed in critical
condition.
Authorities said she hit the bus,
which was leaving Tazewell Primary School for a field trip to a
park.
Administrators said about 25
elementary aged children were on board.
Two adults and two children were
taken from the bus and treated at Claiborne County Hospital for
minor injuries.
The children are in a summer program
held in all Claiborne County Schools.
